Meeting Agendas

Agendas for public meetings, hearings and workshops are available no later than a week before the meeting date.

Regular meetings (2:00 pm) and Public Hearings (5:30 pm) take place on the 2nd Monday of every month on the 18th floor of the County Center building, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa.

Nominations Being Accepted for Scenic Corridors: Nominations for the Unincorporated Hillsborough County Scenic Corridor map update are being accepted. If you know of a roadway that provides vistas of natural or man-made scenic resources, please submit a nomination.
Temple Terrace Land Development Code: At its August 3 and 17 regular meetings, the Temple Terrace City Council adopted the last of the comprehensive overhaul to its land development code, as recommended by the Planning Commission at its June 14 meeting.
Greater Carrollwood-Northdale Community Plan: BOCC continued one amendment – the Greater Carrollwood-Northdale Community Plan – to a hearing on September 2nd

We have undertaken to use our knowledge and understanding of the ways in which different people access the Internet, to develop a web site that is clear and simple for everybody to use.

Validation

We have used XHTML 1.0 and CSS that conforms to specification, as laid out by the W3C because we believe that usability and accessibility must have a solid foundation. If anything on this web site does not validate correctly, please contact the Site Administration, and not the Plone Team.

We have also endeavoured to achieve AA accessibility as measured against version 1.0 of the WCAG. We are aware however, that a number of the checkpoints of the WCAG are subjective — and although we are sure that we have met them squarely, there may be instances where interpretation may vary.

Official Release Of The Statewide Regional Evacuation Study For The Tampa Bay Region: The Florida Division of Emergency Management, Division of Community Planning and Department of Transportation in coordination with the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council officially released the Statewide Regional Evacuation Study (SRES) for the Tampa Bay Region on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10:00 am.
Third Thursdays Conversations at the Planning Commission: The Planning Commission announces ‘Third Thursdays at the Planning Commission’ beginning January 21st 2010 at 12 noon. The Third Thursdays series is free, and the public is warmly invited to attend. Next Third Thursday Conversation is August 19th.
Temple Terrace Redevelopment: After 10 years of intensive planning, on July 2, the City of Temple Terrace Mayor and City Council joined the Vlass Development Group of Atlanta in breaking ground for the 20± acre first phase of its new downtown redevelopment on the southeast corner of 56th Street and Bullard Parkway.
The Planning Commission Approves Hillsborough County and the City of Temple Terrace Capital Improvements Programs: On August 9, 2010 the Planning Commission reviewed and approved the new FY2011-15 Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) for Hillsborough County and the City of Temple Terrace, as required by law (Chapter 97-351, Laws of Florida).
